Ce sont des adultes majeurs et vaccinés, pas des enfants de kleuterschool. Ils ont un cerveau et un sens des responsabilités, vous savez. Si, si, je vous assure. Et un talent, c’est mobile. C’est d’ailleurs la richesse de son expérience qui accroît son employabilité, qui lui évitera de se faire éjecter du marché de l’emploi à 45 ans sans comprendre ce qui lui arrive. Un “génération X” (né entre 65 et 80) aura entre 5 et 10 employeurs dans sa carrière. Un génération Y (né entre 80 et 95) aura entre 5 et 7 orientations de carrière totallement différentes. Et la génération suivante, l’alpha, aura – selon les prévisions qui ne me semblent pas du tout fantaisistes, on en reparlera – 2 ou 3 employeurs en même temps. Pas pour arriver à joindre les 2 bouts comme aux USA. Non, juste pour mettre le meilleur de lui-même dans le laps de temps qu’il jugera nécessaire par rapport aux résultats à atteindre. Et ça lui prendra rarement 38h par semaine.
Oui, ô amis DRH, ô amis managers. Voilà ce qui vous attend. Alors, agilité, flexilibilité d’esprit, ouverture vont devenir vos compétences-clés. Sans cela, vos filets resteront vides et les talents iront nager dans des eaux bien plus bleues…
